This leg will still contain some longer passages, depending on meteo and tide to sail from Nieuwpoort to Lands End.
We will have to keep a sharp lookout for lots of shipping traffic, especially near the busy “traffic lanes”. Night sailing and extensive navigation will be on the program. The sailing area is subject to strong tides and we will certainly have to deal with the currents.
Beautiful places like Cherbourg, Alderney, Weymouth, Dartmouth,… can be on the schedule, depending on weather and tide. We end the tour in Falmouth.
