AC Trip 1: Nieuwpoort (BE) – Cherbourg (FR)

A mile builder!

We leave Nieuwpoort and depending on wind and waves we choose our course. We can continue to follow the French coast and sail more southwards before crossing or we can defy the strong currents at the most favorable times around Dungeness and Beachy Head.
A detour along the Solent and the Isle of Wight and/or Alderney is not excluded in favorable weather conditions. Night sailing is a possibility.

Cherbourg railway station is within walking distance of the marina.
